    Evansville’s LST-325 Gets Top Marks from a National Travel Website

    While Evansville’s LST-325 had its fundraising cruise cut short, that’s not stopping the historic ship from being noticed. The World War Two ship was voted as the Best Tourist Attraction for the Evansville area in 2021, according to the publication Evansville Living. It is also holding down the top spot in a similar list on the website TripAdvisor. The recognition comes after the ship had to cut short a fundraising cruise after a crew member tested positive for COVID-19 in September. In early 2021 the LST-325 was relocated to a more prominent location along the Evansville riverfront, including the addition
