Booking.com
Booking.com might be a stellar destination for all forms of travel but for a limited time, the site is offering 15% off (or more!) a variety of hotel stays between now and Thursday, March 31. When booking, you can browse by specific locations in the search bar or choose from one of the highlighted major cities offering deals, such as New York City, San Antonio or Honolulu. Conveniently, Booking.com even labels how many deals are available in each city so that you can easily determine where you will have the best luck finding a discount for the dates of your stay.
►Travel deals: Shopping for plane tickets? Beware these lingering restrictions
Travelers on a budget can enjoy jaw-dropping discounts through Expedia—take this 4-Night Carnival Bahamas Cruise, for example. Right now, travelers can book an unforgettable vacation starting at just $204 (up to $865 savings per booking).

Atlantis Resorts
Get some relaxing sun and a good swim at the Atlantis Paradise Resort in the Bahamas. Right now, the vast destination spot is offering a special $200 Resort Credit when booking a four-night stay or longer if you book trips for after October 31 before Friday, April 15. That means you can visit the resort’s Dolphin Cay habitat, place bets at the Atlantis Casino and lounge on one of the 11 pools for major savings.
Hilton
Right now select Hilton locations are offering a free night’s stay on the house so long as you meet the minimum stay requirement (and are a Hilton Honors Member—but it’s free to sign up). The length varies by location but typically falls between three and seven days, so as long as you hit that minimum, you can enjoy another night enjoying your vacation. You just have to book by December 31, 2022.
IHG Hotels & Resorts
IHG Hotels & Resorts is gearing up to relaunch its free IHG Rewards program with new tiers and new rewards this March. The current program allows IHG Rewards Club members to earn points that can be redeemed for free nights, free Wi-Fi everywhere, exclusive access to the lowest rates and more. When you reach the top tier, you can even score extended check-outs, early check-ins, complimentary room upgrades and more. Before the relaunch, members can still score double the points on every stay
Marriott
Craving a New England winter—or maybe you’d rather enjoy Florida’s sunny beaches? Whatever your fancy, Marriott is here to help. Now until Friday, March 4, the hotel chain is offering up to 15% off East Coast weekends at more than 40 locations. In order to cash in on the deal, you have to be a Marriott Bonvoy Member (it’s free to sign up!) and you must book at least a Friday or Saturday night stay. Simply check your dates and use coupon code MRP at checkout to redeem the offer and discover your precise discount.
The best flight deals available right now
Traveling by air doesn’t have to be super expensive if you book flights based on the latest and greatest deals, that is. In addition to the popular airline deals listed below, it’s always worthwhile to check out travel apps and websites like Scott’s Cheap Flights and Hopper, both of which are renowned for finding wildly reduced airfare all over the world.
Delta
Delta might not have a set sale going on for early 2022, but that doesn’t mean that the fan-favorite airline isn’t making travel easier in the new year. On the airline’s website, hopeful travelers can peruse a series of destination-based deals that aren’t so much about a specific percent off as they are set cities and dates. For example, when looking at Washington, D.C. departures (one of the 60 cities currently offering deals), travelers can book a roundtrip economy flight to San Salvador, El Salvador; Bogota, Colombia; Cancun, Mexico or San Jose, Costa Rica, for less than $300. What’s especially nice about this is that if you’re unsure when and where you want to travel, Delta’s deals make it easy to pick dates and a location.

►Travel: Southwest Airlines to resume inflight alcohol sales
Southwest Airlines
If you book between now and Monday, March 7 for travel between Tuesday, March 8 and May 18, you can enjoy one-way fares as low as $59. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that rates vary by city and you have to book at least 21 days ahead of time. Still, it’s an affordable way to see new places within the U.S., and may very well be something you’d like to take advantage of.
Skyscanner
Since airline companies don’t always make it super simple to find their lowest rates, using a travel search engine like Skyscanner is incredibly beneficial. Beloved by frequent travelers, Skyscanner analyzes the best flight deals available and presents them online or within the app. If you’re particularly spontaneous, this travel site will quickly become a go-to thanks to its variety of last-minute flight and airline deals. While the deals are seemingly never-ending, the farther you look out, the more expensive they become (even if they are drastically reduced when viewed side-by-side with competitors). That said, if you have the chance to book a trip for next weekend, you could enjoy a roundtrip flight to San José, Costa Rica, from Washington D.C. for just $211. It doesn’t get any better than that.
The best cruise deals available right now
Cruises set sail all over the world for durations as short as three days and as leisurely as month-long voyages. Although cruises are sometimes thought of as expensive given their all-inclusive nature—and the fact that they feature island-hopping itineraries—if you look at the right time (and on the right sites!), you can snag some stellar deals on some of the biggest cruise ship lines, including Carnival, Norwegian and Royal Caribbean. Scope out a handful below.
Carnival
Carnival Cruise Line sets sail all over the world, including to destinations like the Bahamas, Mexico, Europe and even New Zealand. Right now, so long as you’re vaccinated, you can enjoy up to 40% off cruise rates. To enjoy these discounts, just be sure to book your cruise by Monday, March 7 for dates between now and the end of June.
Norwegian Cruise Line
Norwegian Cruise Line is upping the ante with up to 80% off all 2022 cruises. Of course, you’ll have to sort through the bargains based on your port city and date preferences. That said, if you’re not sure where you want to go, every day Norwegian offers a Daily Special on the website’s homepage.
Royal Caribbean
Renowned for its next-level ships just brimming with entertainment, Royal Caribbean is currently offering 30% off all guests. Need an example? The six-night San Juan to Miami cruise starts at just $233 per person and makes stops at Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St. Kitts & Nevis, Antigua and Miami.

You can get the brand’s Voltage DLX large spinner suitcase for $219.99 courtesy of a $60 price cut on the website. The Voltage DLX is one of the best checked luggage pieces we’ve ever tried thanks to its eye-catching design in a variety of colors like teal and its TSA-approved zipper-lock panel. For something more portable, there’s the Samsonite Tote-A-Ton duffle bag, typically priced at $41.99 but now available for $35.69. The brand says the bag has more than 6,400 cubic inches of packing space.
